DRUG FORM: Syrup.
PHARMACOLOGICAL GROUP: Herbal origin sedative mean.
COMPOSITION: Liquid extract of motherwort (Leonuri) – 20ml; mint tincture – 2,5ml; sorbic acid, ethyl spirit of 96%, sorbite syrup – up to 100 ml.
Preparation contains a complex of biologically active substances: essential oil, flavonol glycosides (quercetin, routines, quinquelozide), saponins, alkaloid Leonurine, binding agents.
Does not contain sugar, it is made on sorbite!
PHARMACOLOGICAL OPERATION: The preparation has sedative, spasmolytic, hypotensive, cardiotonic, pain reliever, anticonvulsive action. Reflectively expands brain blood vessels, removes spasm of internal organs smooth muscles.
INDICATION: IT IS USED IN COMPLEX THERAPY, AS AN AID MEAN: Different forms of neurosis, insomnia, increased excitability, fear, tension, neurogenic arrhythmia, meteorism, feeling of nausea, constipation.
СONTRA-INDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity towards any ingredients of the drug.
USAGE RULE AND DOSAGE: Taken perorally, after having a meal.
For adults: one table spoon (15ml) syrup 3-4 times a day;
For children from 1 till 3 years: l/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) syrup 3 times a day;
For children from 3 till 6 years: 1 teaspoon (5ml) syrup 3 times a day;
For children from 6 till 12 years: 1 dessertspoon syrup (10ml) 3-time a day.
Duration of treatment is 2 weeks. Treatment course may be repeated after a month.
SIDE EFFECTS: Long term and high dosage usage of the preparation may cause sleepiness, dizziness, decrease ability of labour.
DOSAGE OMISSION: In case of dose omission is not recommended to take double dose of the preparation. The next dose should be taken according to the initial scheme.
PREGNANCY AND THE PERIOD OF LACTATION: Preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation period by the doctor’s prescription.
INFLUENCE ON ABILITY OF DRIVING CARS AND OTHER VEHICLES:
After receiving the preparation caution is required while driving car and other mechanisms, because it can influence on the capability concentration of attention and rapid response.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER PREPARATIONS: Preparation prolongs and reinforces action of soporific, neuroleptic, psychotropic and anti epileptic preparations’ action.
OVERDOSE: No data available.
PRODUCTION FORM: Primary packing: 100ml syrup in orange glass or polymeric material bottle. Secondary packing: The bottle is placed in a carton box with application instruction.
SHELF LIFE: 2 years.
In case of visual defects and expiry of validity date, the preparation can’t be used.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at 15-25º C, in a protected from light place.
