APPLICATION INSTRUCTION

PHARMACOLOGICAL GROUP: Sedative mean.
THE MEDICINAL FORM: Syrup.
COMPOSITION FOR 130G SYRUP: Active substances: Thick Valerian extract – 1,3g; mint tincture – 3,25ml; mint oil – 0,0052ml. Aiding substances: Sorbic acid or methylparabene, 96 % ethanol, sugar syrup;
“Valoment” contains complex of biologically active substances: essential oil (menthol, borneol, borneolisovalerianate, isovaleric acid), flavonoids, thriterpenoid saponins, valepotriatis.
PHARMACOLOGICAL OPERATION: Characterizes sedative, pain relieving and spasmolitic action. Reinforces retain process in neurons of cortical and subcortical structure of brain, reduces reflecting excitability in central part of the nervous system, prolongs operation of sleeping pills, dilates brain vessels reflexively, quiets smooth muscles spasm of internal organs, strengthens secretion of gall, peristalsis, secretion of digestion gland, it has weak antiseptic effect.
INDICATION: IT IS USED IN COMPLEX THERAPY, AS AN AID MEAN:
· Different kind nervous disorder, hysteria, neurasthenia;
· Excitability, fear, tenseness;
· Сontributes to the onset of natural sleep;
· Migraine;
· Neurogenic arrhythmia;
· Liver and gall line diseases;
· Intestine secretory function disorder;
· Meteorism, nausea.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
· Diabetes mellitus;
· Additional sensitivity towards the any component of composing in the preparation;
SIDE EFFECTS: If you take preparation for a long time, it may cause sleepiness.
USING RULE AND DOSAGE: Preparation is taken perorally.
For children from 6 month to 1 years old: 2,5 ml syrup 3 times a day.
For children From 1 to 3 years: 5 ml syrup 3 times a day.
For children from 3 to 6 years: 10 ml syrup 2 times in a day;
For children from 6 to 12 years: 10 ml syrup 3-4 times in a day.
For juveniles and for children above 12 years: 15 ml syrup 3-4 times a day.
Duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
DOSAGE OMISSION: In case of dose omission is not recommended to take double dose of the preparation. The next dose should be taken as soon as possible or according to the initial scheme.
OVERDOSE: Preparation in high and long-term dosage can cause slowing of psychomotor reactions.
PREGNANCY AND THE PERIOD OF A LACTATION: Preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation period by the doctor’s prescription.
INFLUENCE ON CARS AND OTHER VEHICLES: It can affect ability of reaction, and also driving of car and other mechanisms, which require attention and concentration of fast psychomotor reactions.
CAUTION: The Preparation is carefully prescribed for patients with diabetes, in the period of pregnancy and lactation period.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER PREPARATIONS: It is possible to take the preparation with other sedative means. Reinforces action of hypnotics and suppressant means of the central nervous system.
SPECIAL INDICATION: Preparation in high and long-term dosage can cause slowing of psychomotor reactions, because also driving of car and other mechanisms, which require attention and concentration of fast psychomotor reactions.
PRODUCTION FORM: Primary packing: 130 gram syrup in dark orange glass or polymeric material bottle. Secondary packing: The bottle is placed in a carton box with instructions.
SHELF LIFE: 3 years.
In case of visual defects and expiry of validity date, the preparation can not be used.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at 15-25ºC, in a protected from light place and keep away from children.
